This logo was created by Sheilagh Foster as part of a logo design competition.
The explanation below is the artists interpretation of the logo Trees: the forest, of course Beaver Mountain silhouette: the mountain that McBride and community residents associate with most often…the view from “everyone's” home. Fraser River running through the valley, the forest: the watershed of our forest and our community Train: the icon of McBride (welcome sign, street signs) Salmon: the symbol of integrated forest management for the sustainability of people, economy and natural resources.
